Throughout the years, I have benefited a lot from reading very well-written science books and listening to inspiring people. While doing that, I refrained from doing any serious teaching assignment, coaching, and outreach, as I felt that it's best done by people with the passion and talent. Recently, I came to the realisation that it is not the correct mindset, if I never try, then of course I'll never going to be good at it, and I'll miss the chance in being impactful in areas that I potentially can be. And that is why I have pledged to commit around 1% of my time every week to work on this. This will amount to a total of 1-2 pieces of articles or talks per year. It is nothing much in the grand scheme of things, but just enough to make it a regular thing in my life as I try this new adventure.
At the moment I am mostly focused on the following:
writing various reflections on my experience as a student researcher. An interesting piece of question I am working on is how scientists deal with the idea of uncertainty in their field of work,
writing a brief popular summary of the research works I've worked on in the past (check the Research page),
writing popular science articles (and eventually books) about the wonder of quantum physics and the emerging quantum technologies to interested readers in Indonesia.
